Tonight a friend took me to see the ICE! exhibit at the Gaylord Texan resort. One million pounds of ice carved into a life size nativity
a skating pond with an ice bridge that you can walk across, a giant gingerbread house
enormous ornaments the colors of popsicles, and more. There is even a giant ice slide you can slide down! It was a lot of fun. But very cold...they keep the exhibit at a frosty 9 degrees. Which explains the parka you are handed before you enter the exhibit! The parka also comes in handy for gaining momentum going down the slide....
