Chi-town

I spent the past three days in downtown Chicago for professional training (working on my leadership coaching certification). Of course, the weather was great before I arrived and has been chilly and rainy while I've been here. It's been great to spend some time in one of my favorite cities. I think a friends trip to Chicago may need to be put on the calendar!

I'm hanging with the fam this weekend. I'm staying at my dad's, and David drove down from Wisconsin with his family. Everyone knew I was really only interested in seeing my niece. :o)

Today we went to the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. They have lots of new areas for kids to explore, play, etc. Chicago definitely has a wide variety of plants and flowers that can grow successfully here.

It's been a fun day!
